Mercius Vivus (Merc.-v)
(mercury)
(also know as Mercurius Hydrargyrum)
Mercurius Vivus is used for sore
throats; breath is foul; constant desire to swallow. Also for vertigo when lying
on back, tension headache and other conditions. Discharges are greenish or
yellow-greenish. Better - moderate temperature. Worse - night; sweating; lying
on right side; drafts; changing weather.
Secondary stage of syphilis. Profuse
and burning discharge from eyes. Yellow, bloody discharge from
ears. Sneezing in sunshine. Swelling of nasal bones. Spongy and
easily bleeding gums. Intense thirst for cold drinks. Paralysis
of the aged.
